Driving along the A4 to exit 18: Refrath

• After the exit drive in the direction of "Refrath".
• After a good 1 km turn left in the direction of “Bergisch Gladbach Zentrum”, road "Vürfelser Kaule", follow this road through Refrath. The road subsequently changes its name to "Dolmanstraße".
• In "Bergisch Gladbach, Ortsteil Gronau” keep left in the direction of "Wipperfürth, Altenberg".
• At the next opportunity drive right in the direction of “Wippperfürth, Altenberg”, road "Hauptstraße".
• At the next fork, keep to the right. From here follow the signs to "Rheinisches Industriemuseum Papiermühle Dombach".
• Then follow the road straight on through the town.
• Alte Dombach (Administration) is on the left-hand side after the traffic island. Neue Dombach (Paper machine hall, pathway to the museum entrance and parking facilities are 200 metres further on the left.

Driving along the A 4 to exit 20: Berg. Gladbach-Bensberg

• At the first set of traffic lights drive straight on in the direction of "Herkenrath, Kürten"
• In "Herkenrath" turn left at the first set of traffic lights.
• At the next set of traffic lights turn left again. From here follow the signs to "Bergisch Gladbach" approx. 2 km to town sign "Bergisch Gladbach, Ortsteil Sand"
• Take the first road to the right to "Dombach-Sander-Straße".
• Then follows the signs to "Rheinisches Industriemuseum".
• After a few bends in the road the entrance to the official carpark is on the left-hand side.
• From there take the pathway to the museum approx. 300 Meter (down-stream).
• If one drives passed the car park: In the valley at the junction "Kürtener Straße", Neue Dombach is directly opposite. Here there are a few more parking spaces. The footpath to the museum is approx. 200 m.

Driving along the A 3 to exit 24: Leverkusen

• Continue in the direction "Bergisch Gladbach" at the set of traffic lights after the exit.
• Follow the road in the direction of "Bergisch Gladbach".
• After 5 km town boundary "Bergisch Gladbach, Ortsteil Schildgen".
• Further 1 km at the traffic lights turn right in direction "Köln, Bensberg, Zentrum"
• At the next traffic lights turn left and then drive in direction of "Bensberg, Zentrum, Stadion Paffrath”.
• After 4 km turn right at the traffic lights in direction "A4, Gesamtverkehr, Bensberg".
• Shortly afterwards keep left in the tunnel.
• After the tunnel drive straight on in the direction of "Wipperfürth, Altenberg" and follow the signs to the “Rheinisches Industriemuseum Papiermühle Dombach".
• Follow the road straight on through the town.
• After the traffic island at Aldi etc. the Alte Dombach (Administration) is on the left-hand side.
• After a further 200 metres Neue Dombach is on the left-hand side (Paper machine hall, parking facilities, footpath to the museum entrance).

Driving along the A 1 to exit 97: Burscheid

• After driving off the motorway drive in the direction of "Bergisch Gladbach" (B51).
• After approx. 1.5 km turn left in the direction of Bergisch Gladbach.
• In Altenberg turn right in the direction of Bergisch Gladbach.
• In Odenthal turn left at the traffic island in direction of Bergisch Gladbach.
• In Bergisch Gladbach take the fork to the left. Follow the road "Am Mühlenberg" in direction of the signs to the “Rheinisches Industriemuseum Papiermühle Dombach" and "Ev. Krankenhaus", "Kürten".
• At the end of the road drive left following the direction Kürten.
• After the next traffic island Alte Dombach (Administration) is on the left-hand side.
• 200 Metres further on Neue Dombach is located on the left-hand side. (Paper machine hall, parking facilities and footpath to museum).

The path follows an asphalted pavement. There is, however, a short steep embankment.
